Boxing Day Calm
In modern society, the old practice of the day has faded, no more master and servant relationship thankfully, however boxing day is still a day full of generosity and appreciation. Compared to the Christmas day excitement, boxing day in most households is a calmer affair. It is a continuation of celebration with good food being prepared and served, games being demanded by children (or by adults like me), and the deserving enjoyment of an afternoon nap free from guilt.
Lightness bequeathed the Christmas tree without bedimming the festive spirit on boxing day.
